Little treats...

I went into town today to pick up a few things to cheer up my other half, who has a serious case of man-flu.
Whilst I was there, I couldn't help but include myself in the treat buying, and at just £2 for two products I don't think I was too naughty.

I picked myself up two MUA products. A single eyeshadow in the shade 'Pearl' which to me looks like a cranberry pinky shade, and a bright pink lipstick in the shade '03'.

So far I have only tried the lipstick, and I think for a £1 the colour is really vibrant. Though I am currently drinking a cup of tea and the fact that half the mug is covered in lipstick I'm guessing it's not the most long-lasting. ONE pound though, come on.

His and hers...

So, I had seen these little washbags by Chase and Wonder in Urban Outfitters before Christmas, but with the £22 price tag decided I'd sadly have to leave them on the shelf...

Imagine my delight when browsing my local UO yesterday evening when I saw them again, this time, reduced to £5 each in the sale! Even better still, the lady at the till told me they were buy-one-get-one-free. She was offering £44 worth of washbaggy goodness for a fiver?! How could I refuse?

Now my boyfriend and I have matching 'his and hers' wash bags to use next time we are lucky enough to have a weekend away.

The Chase and Wonder website describes the washbags as 'hand screen printed onto cotton canvas with
navy waterproof lining and a red ribbon pull (19 x 26cm). They are also 'Proudly made in Britain' which I think is pretty cool. Bargain of the week!

The pineapple of my dreams....

So for as long as I can remember I have been longing for one of these super retro and highly tacky, pineapple-shaped ice buckets, and finally I have one to call my own.
Last weekend whilst perusing my local charity shops, I happened upon this beauty staring out at me from inside one of those glass cabinets that display the slightly more expensive "extra special" items.
Whilst I deemed the £15 price tag to be a little steep by charity shop standards, I knew this shiny object of wonder had to be mine and handed over my card, satisfied the money was going to a good cause.
Oh and why the fascination with owning this particular type of fruit-based bucket you may ask? Well, if it's good enough for Del and Rodney, it's good enough for me...

To begin...

A rather poor quality photo of my face, apologies.
Safe to say I have no idea what I'm doing, and pretty sure I'm too old to be doing it all over the internet, but here goes....
I'm Jo, by the way :)
